School districts team up to share information

Yuma School District One, Crane School District, and Yuma Union High School District have partnered to promote available meal locations throughout Yuma.  A complete list of school locations offering Grab ‘n Go meals for students is now available to find the closest location for each family.

When Arizona school closures began on March 9, 2020, schools in Yuma began preparing meals for pickup, Monday-Friday, to students 18 years old and younger.  Since the school closures have been extended through the end of the school year, 3 school districts in Yuma decided to team up to provide a comprehensive resource for all Yuma families.

A list of open schools and an interactive map have been developed to reflect the available locations from which the families can choose.  By working together, school districts hope families may find a pick-up location that is most accessible for them, even if it is not their child’s attended school.  This will ensure that all students throughout Yuma will have access to this valuable service.

All open locations provide meals ready for pick-up to any student 18 years old and younger.  Students must be present at the time of pick-up. Since pick-up times and locations are subject to change, families are encouraged to utilize the map for current information.
