Vista Performing Arts Club spreads holiday cheer
Vista High School’s Performing Arts Club spread holiday cheer at the Life Care enter of Yuma on Dec. 11, 2019.
The group prepared a candy cane reindeer and delivered holiday cards to residents.
"It was a positive experience for both us, and the residents, because it provided so much joy,” VHS student Ebenie Marquez said.
The Performing Arts Club started on the campus in the 2018-19 school year and is overseen by Brenda Wright, who teaches drama.
"The club is about the opportunity for an adult to care about and a place you can go to be who you are and discover who you are and who you could be," Wright said.
