Cibola Art students tour UCLA with Cibola graduate

Cibola High School Advanced Placement art classes visited the campus of the University of California Los Angeles School of Art & Architecture, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Broad Art Museum on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019.

During their trip a graduate from Cibola and current UCLA graduate student, Marc Aurelius Sanchez, gave students a presentation about the school of animation. Sanchez previously taught art at Yuma High School over the past several years.

"Cibola students were exposed to educational and cultural opportunities," CHS art teacher Holly Hendrick said.

Cibola art classes would like to thank their generous donors, Janet and Russ Jones, for making the trip happen.
