GRHS wins multiple silver and bronze emblems at FFA National Convention

Gila Ridge High School is proud to announce the results from the Future Farmers of America (FFA) National Convention Competition the week of Oct. 24, 2017 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Additionally, former Gila Ridge High School student McKenna Mellon received her American FFA Degree. Only 1 percent of all FFA members receive this degree and it is one of the organization’s highest honors. According to the website, www.ffa.org, the American FFA Degree is awarded to members who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to FFA and made significant accomplishments in their supervised agricultural experiences.
